Delete your account

In the app

1. Open the Library tab and tap the gear to open Settings.
2. In the account section, tap your name or email.
3. Tap Delete Account and confirm.

You need an internet connection. If you signed in with Apple, we also revoke the app's Sign in with Apple access. Your account is deleted at once, and our servers erase its data as soon as the deletion goes through, usually within minutes.

If you never signed in, uninstalling the app removes what it stored on your phone. Server data kept under the app's anonymous ID (for example chat history) expires on the schedule in the privacy policy, or sooner if you email us.

By email

If you can no longer open the app, email us from the address you signed in with, or tell us that address.

We confirm the account is yours, then delete it within 72 hours.

What deletion removes

• Your sign-in account, name and email.
• Synced subscriptions, queue, saved episodes, listening history and playback positions.
• Your episode chats, Podcast Brain memory, summaries, claim tracking and other AI results stored for your account.
• Your recommendation feedback, push-notification tokens, and the activity and job records linked to your account.
• Your name on shared episode records (the record stays for other listeners, without you).
• The app's data on the phone you delete from.

What is kept

• Purchase records: kept for 120 days after deletion, for store refunds and disputes, then deleted.
• Shared episode transcripts: they belong to the episode and never identified you.
• Analytics events and crash reports already sent to Google, under Google's retention settings. Crash reports are not linked to your account; email us to have analytics linked to your account removed.
• Downloaded audio files may stay on a phone until you uninstall the app.

The privacy policy lists every service that processes data and what each one receives.

Premium subscription

Deleting your account does not cancel a Premium subscription. Apple and Google bill it, so cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings, before or after you delete.
