What should an Overcast alternative keep vs change?
Keep the catalog, change the platform. Your subscriptions are public RSS and move in one OPML file. What does not move is Overcast-only craft: tuned Smart Speed and Voice Boost, the Apple Watch app, Smart Playlists, play position, and downloaded files. Switch when Android, OPML control, or free unlimited offline matters more than that craft.
What you keep
Public RSS shows exist in any client that reads a feed. That is the catalog, and OPML carries it. Listening habits — speed, boost, playlists — are app-local; you rebuild them in The Podcast App after import.
What you may lose
